Starting a Game of Chess or Checkers

Unregistered Users (Login or Register now!)

Both games on PlayerPlaza.com (Chess and Checkers) require you to have a registered and active account. If you have not yet registered with PlayerPlaza.com yet click here. If you have an active account, please read below:

Login to PlayerPlaza.com

Login by clicking the Login link, or by using the QuickLog located on the left menu of the homepage.

**Note** If you try and access a secure page while logged out, you will automatically be redirected to the login page. Users will automatically be logged out after a determined time of inactivity.

Choose a Game

After a successful login you will be redirected to your account, where you will have the option of choosing either Chess or Checkers. Links to these games can also be found in various other places on the site.

Chess - TURN OFF ALL POP-UP BLOCKERS

Immediately after choosing chess, you will be brought to the Gaming Arena. You may choose any of the games listed below, or start your own. Below are instructions as to how you start, or join a game.

Finding a Game

New users to Player Plaza should generally choose to play a free game until they have a feel for how the system works. If you already deposited money in your Player Plaza account then you can play for money. Chess players can choose from a range of one to ten dollars (If they have enough money to sponsor the game).

Once you have chosen the game you would like to play, click on the username of the member you would like to challenge. YOU MUST HAVE ALL POP-UP BLOCKERS TURNED OFF, OR THE GAME WILL NOT FUNCTION. After you have clicked on the username of the person you are challenging, a window will pop up which contains the game. Choose the "Click here to Connect..." button, and let the games begin!

Creating a Game

If you choose to create a game, then click on the "Start your own challenge!" link, and you will be brought to a page where you choose the amount of money you would like to play for. If you are new to Player Plaza, you may want to choose to play for free, until you get a feel for the game. You may also choose to play for money. The game ranges from amounts of one to ten dollars. You may only choose a game for money if you have enough money in your account. There is also a link on this page to add money to your account. All transactions are secure.

After you chosen the amount of money you would like to play for, click on the link for the corresponding amount. YOU MUST HAVE ALL POP-UP BLOCKERS TURNED OFF, OR THE GAME WILL NOT FUNCTION. After you have clicked on amount you would like to play for, you will be brought to a page where you will wait for player to join your game. Once a player has joined a window will pop up which contains the game. Choose the "Click here to Connect..." button, and let the games begin!

Checkers - TURN OFF ALL POP-UP BLOCKERS
