Day of Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving!

'Tis the season to give thanks and to think about the many blessings that we have or don't have in our lives. For me personally, there is much to be grateful for, and therefore, I dedicate this blog to give thanks. Because I hold a lot of value in the small things, I will start there.

I am thankful for Nestle Tollhouse Swirled Chocolate Chip Cookies. There is something rather special about poppin' a few of those in the oven and eating them while they are nice and hot. I have a soft spot for cookies, and I am afraid those are in my top five. I am thankful for music and the hope to one day be able to breakdance flawlessly. I am thankful for sexual chocolate. I am thankful for Justin Timberlake. I am thankful for second chances. I am thankful for golf. I am thankful for the opportunity to walk. I am thankful for bad days. I am thankful for my iPod. I am thankful for road trips. I am thankful for Texas Hold'em. I am thankful for the privilege that I was born with and the privilege that I hope to bestoy on others as I find my place in this world. I am thankful for all of the many things that I take for granted. I am thankful for the handful of people in my life that truly know and understand the depth and shallowness of my soul. I am thankful for betrayal. I am thankful for truth. I am thankful for the hope of a better day.
