Tim Hardaway Has Been Banished From This Weekend's All Star Game Festivities

The National Basketball Association has banished Tim Hardaway from this weekend's All-Star Game in Las Vegas because of his anti-gay remarks.

According to Cnn.com and the Associated Press, The National Basketball Association has banished Tim Hardaway from this weekend's All-Star Game in Las Vegas because of his anti-gay remarks. Hardaway, who played in five NBA All-Star games during the 1990s, was already in Las Vegas and scheduled to make a series of public appearances this week on behalf of the league.

Thankfully, commissioner David Stern stepped in and cancelled his invitation to the weekend festivities surrounding the All Star Game. Stern said, "It is inappropriate for him to be representing us given the disparity between his views and ours." Hardaway's half-ass insincere apology later that night was apparently too little, too late.

Not only did Hardaway expose his homophobia and bigotry to the world, but he also exposed his unawareness and unappreciation for the discrimination and racism that his fellow ancestors have endured for years in western civilization. Being an African American you would think that he would have some sense of compassion and awareness of what it is like to be part of a group of people that has endured and continues to endure discrimination. Go figure. Tim was blessed with a good size noggan, but apparently there just isn't much going on between those ears of his. It is a good thing he knows how to bounce a basketball.

Ladies and Gentlemen - Regardless of how you personally feel about Homosexuals, African Americans, Latinos, or whomever, they deserve rights just as much as you do. We are all human beings, and everyone deserves to be treated equally. We can agree to disagree. Get over yourself, and open your eyes to the possibility that your way isn't the only way to live.

Game on.
Play. Win. Make Money.
